Here is a selection of the more common rifles of the world, bolt action, semi auto and even a few selective fire, ranging from the late 1800's all the way to modern rifles. This is also the homepage for the Rifleman from VF.

Perhaps the most famous rifle of them all, this family of rifles has spanned from 1870 to the end of WW2. The first rifle Mauser produced was simply known as the Mauser, and was a simple single shot bolt action rifle, however it showed the way forward. Mausers were produced in over 27 countries and some estimate that over 100 million Mausers were produced in total. The most common calibers that Mausers were produced in are the 8mm Mauser and 7mm Mauser. The Country of origin for the Mauser is Germany.
